Wine appreciation September 2020

We had a very successful zoom meeting on Friday evening. Our next one is taking place on Friday 4th September.

The next meeting will see us tasting and telling about the wines we have chosen. This time we will be trying a Pinotage and for the white wine, anything that looks interesting but not a Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc. We will also get extra points for an interesting looking label.

Here’s a little limerick inspired by our meeting on Friday.

With social distancing gloom
We just didn’t have enough room
For the U3A wine group
And it is such a fine group
So we meet up instead via zoom!
