Welcome to Dawlish & District u3a

Dawlish & District u3a’s guiding principle is to improve our members’ quality of life through Learning, Laughing and Living.

Our members aim to enjoy life after employment to the full.  They live mainly in the area in and around Dawlish including Teignmouth, Starcross, Cockwood, Cofton, Kenton and Holcombe.  Members belong to one or more of our growing list of interest groups which cover a wide range of topics and leisure activities.  Groups are very informal and meet at various venues around Dawlish, with some hosted in members’ homes.  These diverse groups enable us to benefit from each other’s endlessly surprising knowledge, experience, enthusiasm and zest for life.  We also come together at monthly meetings and enjoy social events throughout the year.

If you would like to meet people and make friends, or to take up something you have always wanted to do, our u3a group could be for you.  To find out more, come along to one of our monthly meetings where you can chat with us about our interest groups, activities and events and, of course, find out how you can join.

General meetings, with refreshments and guest speakers, are held at 2:30pm on the third Monday of every month at the Manor House, Old Town Street, Dawlish.  Casual monthly Tea and Chat meetings are held at 2pm on the first Thursday of the month, at the Riverside Centre in the grounds of the Manor House.
