Board Games

The Board Games group is for those who would like to spend a quiet hour or two playing various board and card games, without the pressure of having to be very good at them.

We have two opportunities to meet: an open games session and a Rummikub session.

The open games session follows the u3a Tea and Chat meeting on the first Thursday of each month. The Riverside venue is available for a second hour, so members can play Board games, card games or just continue socialising. Everyone is invited to bring along their favourite game and invite others to play.

Second, Rummikub takes place on the last Tuesday of the month at the Methodist Church Brunswick Place, from 10am to around 11.30am. There is no charge for entry or play but tea, coffee and cake are available at £1 per item. No need to book in advance, just come along and play.

Rummikub meets monthly on the last Tuesday
Time: 10 to 11:30am
Location: The Methodist Church, Brunswick Place
Cost: only for optional refreshments
