In Our Own Write

In Our Own Write is our creative writing group and welcomes new members.

At each meeting, group members will bring some prepared work, for example, for the first meeting the “homework” is “Christmas in a country we know well.”
A sense of humour is essential and meetings are light-hearted.

We hope to bring to the group our experience of previous creative writing courses we have been on. We are not aspiring to be the next Charles Dickens or J.K Rowling, although we wouldn’t mind her royalties, but we are aiming to have fun trying.

In Our Own Write group meetings are usually held monthly on the 2nd Monday
