French Conversation – October/November 2022
I am sharing the sad news that Jill Dixon, a long-standing member of the group passed away in September. Jill had been poorly for some time. Her son arranged a Memorial for her on October 10th which some of us were able to attend.
We met twice in October. On 6th October, where there were just four of us, we had no topic, but the conversation flowed nonetheless! Bridie spoke about a trip some years ago to Jordan and Trevor told us he has a trip there planned for next year. We free ranged around Brexit and passports and more. On 19th October the topic was “A TV programme which is no longer on TV that you liked and would like continued”
Our meeting on 3rd November had the topic “Something you like to listen to on the radio”.
