Creative Writing – February 2022

The Creative Writing group this month wrote on the subject of ‘Birthday’ due to several of us celebrating (or otherwise) our birthdays around this time.

Although we were low in number this month, there were interesting and varied pieces including a thought-provoking one on the subject of birthdays highlighting what important milestones they are, and mentioning some of the highlights – such as a pink blancmange rabbit.  Also a piece of heart-breaking writing which referenced current events in Ukraine during the invasion, with a beautifully turned phrase about how the world can be seen in a child’s eyes.
