Theatre group – August 2022
Some of us went to see The Mellstock Quire, a play adapted from Thomas Hardy’s Under the Greenwood Tree. Powderham Castle created a perfect backdrop to this wonderful production helped by house martins catching insects on the wing, swooping and flying in and out of one of the arches. A thoroughly enjoyable evening performed by Topsham Players and well worth going to any future productions they may have planned.
A group of us are going to see All The Great Books at Shaftesbury Theatre on Friday 5th August. If you fancy going but don’t want to sit on your own, book your ticket and join us at the Bar at 7pm.
We now meet in Daisies at 2pm on the second Thursday of the month. If you fancy coming along and joining us for a cuppa, let me know.
