Strollers Social Walking Group – Dawlish Countryside Park

Taking advantage of the continuing good weather we went to the Country Park on the outskirts of Dawlish, and walked, slowly, to the top. The bench there was very welcome, and the views to Mamhead, the Haldon hills and as far as Berry Head were fantastic.

We sat there for some time in the autumn sunshine, before walking through the lanes to Cockwood, for more sitting down, this time in the garden of the Ship Inn. A very pleasant afternoon for all.
