Painting and Drawing – March 2022

We are a small group that started last November who like to paint and draw. By meeting a couple of times each month we can share our work and ideas with each other.

If you are interested in bringing something along with you that you can work on for a couple of hours then join our group, or come along for a trial session to see what you think.

It doesn’t matter if you have done a lot of painting or not, we meet to inspire each other and encourage creativity. Everyone is welcome.

Acrylic paint is popular as it dries quickly and is easy to transport, as are watercolours. Pastels, charcoal and pencils are all mediums to try if you would like a place to experiment with new ideas. Just bring your own materials and give them a go. A photograph or picture to work from can give you inspiration and can lead to ideas and designs of your own.

The room we meet in is bright, light and comfortable. We meet on the 2nd and 3rd Mondays at 11am to 1pm in the Lounge Room at The Strand Hall, Dawlish. Entrance to the room is from the upper door on Lawn Hill.
