Lunch Club – August 2024

Date: 23rd August 2024; 12 noon

Venue: The River Exe Cafe

Location: the River Exe cafe is located on a barge in the middle of the River Exe.  It is accessed via the Puffin water taxi which departs from Exmouth Marina.

Other information: Must arrive at Exmouth Marina Visitors pontoon EX8 1XA  before 11.15 am. Water taxi departure time is 12pm to catch to River Exe cafe. BE PUNCTUAL PLEASE! The Puffin Water Taxi cannot wait for latecomers.

I will send out the link for the River Exe Cafe menu to those who have booked closer to the date. Each member will have to pre order lunch and I will send your deposit and pre order on 1st August 2024. Please arrange your own transport to Exmouth. Please make sure you can go to the venue before you pay your deposit. If you withdraw you can find a friend to take your place & sort deposit with friend.

Transport:
1. We can take train to Starcross & catch ferry to Exmouth. If we are early we can have coffee / tea while waiting for the puffin water taxi
2. Car pool / sharing

“A return river cruise with the Puffin Water Taxi is automatically booked for when you reserve a table. 
The booking time you select is your water taxi departure time, tables are booked from half past the hour on arrival at the restaurant.
You have 2 hours to enjoy the fine food, drink and views aboard then the taxi will pick you up and drop you back to Exmouth.
