Getting there:
9.37 train from Dawlish, change Plymouth arriving 11.23
Lanhydrock House and gardens are a 1¾ mile walk from Bodmin Parkway station
Costs:
- Train fare, return to Bodmin Parkway station £18.80 or £12.40 with a rail card – if purchased before March 3rd
- Entrance to house and gardens £20
- Grounds free entry – three circular walks (see map)
- NT members free entry
Return train options:
- 15.31, change Newton Abbot, Dawlish at 17.47
- 16.05, change Plymouth and Newton Abbot, Dawlish at 17.47
- 17.06, direct Dawlish at 18.43
Refreshments:
I suggest taking coffee to have on the train, then your choice of Lanhydrock café or your own picnic for lunch.
