Adventure Group – Pebblebed Vineyard tour and tasting

September’s adventure includes a tour of a vineyard with wine tasting and charcuterie thrown in.

Cost £30 per person
Cost includes Guided tour of the vineyard and tasting in the traditional winery and a cheese and artisan charcuterie light bite to follow with a glass of wine.
Duration 2 hours
Meeting point Pebblebed Vineyards car park.  Please aim to be there 15 minutes before the start.
Deadline for commitment Please notify Carolyn by Monday 16th September if you wish to come on this adventure.
Deadline for payment The full balance of £30 per person to be paid by Monday 16th September.

Cheque payments:
Bank transfers are preferred but if you wish to pay by cheque please ensure the Treasurer has your cheque in sufficient time for it to clear by the deadline.

Cancellation policy Full refund for cancellation up to the 16th September 2024.
Loss of all payment thereafter (unless you can find somebody else to take your place).
Please notify Carolyn as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
Procedure for notifying group if provider cancels In the event of cancellation Carolyn will send an email to all those who have booked and update the details on the website.
Please check the website on the morning of the activity in case of last minute cancellation.
Level of fitness required or any particular skills (you must satisfy yourself that you are physically able to participate in the activity). Ability to walk across fields and on pathways.
Personal medical conditions If you have any medical conditions that might affect your ability to complete the walk then you should declare this to the organisers on arrival.
In particular, if you have any food or other allergies you should make these known to the organiser and vineyard staff on arrival.
Disclaimer Please note that whilst the u3a organisers are concerned for everyone’s welfare, by taking part in this activity you should recognise that your safety is your own responsibility.
Appropriate footwear & clothing Weather-appropriate everyday clothing and footwear suitable for walking across fields.
Toilet / refreshment facilities Refreshments are included.  Toilets are available at the venue.
Storage of personal belongings No storage facilities on site. Participants are responsible for the security of their own belongings.
Public transport and car parking facilities Car parking is available at the vineyard.
