Adventure Group – Footgolf on the Exe

Anyone for a game of football or a round of crazy golf?  Combine your skills by having a go at footgolf!

What you need to know…

Nature of activity A round of “footgolf” (the same principle as golf but you kick a football and the holes are bigger!)

Date and start time Friday 12th April 2pm or
Thursday 18th April 2pm
Duration Approx 90 minutes
Cost £10 per person
Cost includes 18 holes of footgolf. Each hole has unique obstacles to negotiate.
Equipment provided One football per person.
Deadline for commitment Please notify Deb by 5th April if you plan to attend.
How and when to pay Pay on the day directly to Footgolf on the Exe.
Cancellation policy As we pay on the day there will be no loss of money if anybody cancels but it would be helpful if individuals choosing to drop out could let Deborah know ASAP by email.  
Procedure for notifying group if provider cancels If the provider cancels there will be notification on website and by email to those booked. If the weather is so bad that the whole group chooses to cancel then it may be possible to identify an alternative date.

Please check the website on the morning of the activity in case of last minute cancellation.

Level of fitness required or any particular skills (you must satisfy yourself that you are physically able to participate in the activity). Ability to walk around course for approx 90 minutes and kick a football. Participants should be aware that if kicking is an unaccustomed activity, it could put unexpected strain on hips and knees.
Personal medical conditions If you have any medical conditions that might affect your ability to participate in the guided walk then you should declare this to the instructor on arrival.
Disclaimer Please note that whilst the u3a organisers are concerned for everyone’s welfare, by taking part in this activity you should recognise that your safety is your own responsibility.
Appropriate footwear & clothing Appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather on the day. Trainers or similar. Football boots are not allowed.
Storage of personal belongings Leave belongings in your car or carry them with you on the course.
Toilet / refreshment facilities There are toilets on site.

There is a licensed bar on site. Snacks and drinks are available, however you may wish to bring water to carry on the course.

Public transport and car parking facilities Free car parking is available on site.

Shared transport to be arranged by attendees.
