About Robin Buchanan

Robin Buchanan has lived in Dawlish for almost 10 years.

Previously, he lived and worked in Gloucester and London, having worked for the Bank of England and then with offenders for the National Probation Service. He comes originally from Colchester, Britain’s oldest recorded town, and is a one-time returned immigrant to Canada.

His interests include family history and keeps in touch in many parts of the world with his far-flung family. He also writes poetry, collects stamps and undertakes a number of voluntary and charitable activities. He has taught English, completed a degree in his late sixties, is a cold water swimming enthusiast and used to run marathons.

Robin will be speaking to Dawlish & District u3a about Dawlish Stamp Club.
