Strollers Social Walking Group – May 2025
Six Dawlish & District u3a Strollers enjoyed our April walk, led by David A. It was a walk around parts of Dawlish where we learned about some of the interesting history connected to Dawlish.
Our next monthly Dawlish & District u3a Strollers walk is on Thursday May 8th. We’re walking up Breakneck Hill, a short but steepish climb, then we’ll then walk down the green lane towards Holcombe and on via the public footpath across the fields. This brings us out near the Castle Inn. If the Castle Inn is open, we’ll stop there for our refreshments, otherwise we’ll walk on to the Smuggler’s Inn. Afterwards walkers from Dawlish may choose to walk back down into Dawlish or catch the bus.
For the start of the walk please meet up in Teignmouth at the bus stop by WH Smith’s in Teignmouth. We’ll be catching the number 80 Country bus at 13.10pm up to the stop near Hazeldown school ie Maudlin Drive. NB it is not a circular walk this time!
