Dog Walking – October 2024

We continue to meet on Tuesdays at 1030 as a Group, but there are other times in the week when one or two of us meet up.

Dogs need to be walked whatever the weather and the walks can be as long or short to suit each dog and dog walker! We have had some fairly wet and windy walks, but it is also a bonus if you are walking in good company. Everyone is encouraged to suggest a walk.

We have walked twice up through the back of Morrisons to the Old Wall Vineyard where they serve excellent coffee not to mention a chance to enjoy the views. Enough time for the dogs to have a water break and then back down again enjoying the magnificent views across Shaldon on our way.

We have had regular walks on Friday through Powderham Castle Grounds but with the American Gardens and the Belevedere now closed for the season the walk is not as long.

We have enjoyed a few trips by Ferry across to Shaldon and our plan is to branch further afield walking alongside the estuary to Exeter Quay as one example.
