Adventure group go paddleboarding at Exeter Quay

Thank you everyone who managed to come along to the Paddleboarding experience at Exeter Quay.

We were met by Kerri our guide, teacher and companion at 14:00 on a mild sunny afternoon.  We were given a safety briefing and a buoyancy aid.  Our paddleboards were all ready for us when we arrived, together with a paddle.

We all set off on our knees in the water getting used to the water conditions and wind.

Once we got used to the paddleboard we were given the option of standing up on the paddleboard which was quite difficult but possible.

There were other people in the water as well as wild life.  One or two members fell into the water but were able to climb back on board with Kerri’s help.

Kerri was an excellent coach and we all enjoyed our time on the water.
