Stephanie Austin took up writing in retirement and is now the author of nine contemporary crime novels set in the Dartmoor town of Ashburton and featuring amateur sleuth Juno Browne.  She has worked as a teacher, artist, astrologer, antiques trader and for the Devon Schools Library Service.
