About Dawlish Community Transport

We are a Community Transport service offering many opportunities enabling people from Kenton through to Shaldon and Bishopsteignton to access transportation, all provision is door to door.  We have our Ring and Ride service for essential shopping trips to local towns and shops. Our social/wellbeing trips cover a vast area travelling to many places across Devon in our minibuses; encouraging not only independence but interaction where communications and friendships develop. We operate two community bus routes for rural areas, routes that larger buses aren’t able to access and are heavily relied upon for many, and the very popular community car scheme, essential and often the only mode of transport for many. We have over 1600 individual people registered, providing over 2000 journeys last year.

Our main objective is the provision of transport, with multiple opportunities to get out and about as well as medical/health appointments; our group bookings for the community are so popular and our additional in-house activities such as our Bingo Bus for a monthly get together offer so much more and have proved so very worthwhile.
