u3a trip to Shaldon Zoo

We have been offered a guided tour and talk by Shaldon Zoo.

This will take place on Tuesday 25th  June at 11am. The talk will include some of the zoo’s history, its conservation work and some of its breeding successes.

The cost will be £6 each; this will allow further access throughout the day should you wish to stay on or return after lunch.

It is a small zoo but there are several short stairways to navigate. There is a car park directly outside the zoo. Car sharing could possibly be arranged.
