Strollers Social Walking Group – March 2025
Just five Dawlish & District u3a Strollers took part in our February walk. In chilly weather, led by Richard, the group walked from Starcross to their refreshment stop at Cofton Holiday Park
Our next walk is on Thursday March 13th. I am planning another guided tour of Teignmouth old cemetery. There is lots to see amongst the 12 acre site, for example, beautiful trees; spring flowers; interesting memorial inscriptions etc.
We’ll be catching the number 80 Country bus at 1:10pm from by WH Smith’s in Teignmouth up to Hazeldown School, then walking down Exeter Rd and on into the cemetery. Afterwards, we’ll either walk back down into Teignmouth for refreshments or walkers may wish to catch the number 22 Dawlish Warren bus from nearby New Road back home to Dawlish.
New Strollers or guests always welcome on our monthly walks.
Please note, dogs are not allowed in the cemetery and there are no toilets within the cemetery grounds.
