Strollers Social Walking Group – February 2025

Five Dawlish & District u3a Strollers braved the chilly January weather for our walk last month. We were fortunate to have sunshine and no rain for our scenic train journey to Exmouth, followed by a stroll along the seafront. We made it as far as the RNLI building before heading back. After a refreshment stop at The Pavilion cafe we had time to buy some treats in the M&S food store before catching our train home.

Our next Dawlish & District u3a Strollers walk is on Thursday Feb 13th. It is another walk chosen by one of our regular Strollers.

We’re catching the number 2 Exeter bus leaving Teignmouth at 12.18pm and Dawlish at 12.34pm. We plan to get off the bus at Starcross, walk back to Cockwood, and then on to Cofton Holiday Park for our refreshments before catching the bus home.

New Dawlish & District u3a Strollers are always welcome to join us on our monthly walks.

Our March 13th Strollers walk will be another opportunity to explore the 12 acres of Teignmouth old cemetery, a beautiful, peaceful site with lovely trees, spring flowers, memorial headstones etc to peruse and hear more about. Travel details will follow nearer the time.
