Strollers Social Walking Group – December 2024

Just four D&D Strollers on our November walk (plus six apologies). We enjoyed a lovely dry autumnal weather walk along Love Lane before exploring the footpaths on Eastcliff / Mules Park. We then walked along Teignmouth seafront followed by the back beach, on around the Sand Quay and on to our end of walk cafe refreshments.

Our next monthly walk is on Thursday December 12th. We’re walking up Breakneck Hill then on down the back road to Dawlish via the lane with the small ford (Aller Hill), followed by end of walk refreshments at a Dawlish cafe.

Our walk starts from Teignmouth. We’re catching the number 80 Country bus at 13.10pm from the WH Smith’s bus stop. We’ll get off our bus by Hazeldown school then after an initial short, steepish walk up Breakneck Hill, it’s all downhill back to Dawlish.

A suggestion from one of our Strollers for our first 2025 walk (on Thursday January 9th) is to catch the train to Exmouth, then take a level walk along Exmouth seafront. Train details are to follow.
