Strollers Social Walking Group – April 2025
On March 13th, six members of Dawlish & District u3a Strollers group enjoyed another informative guided tour of Teignmouth old cemetery – an especially great time for a springtime visit as there are masses of daffodils, wild primroses, celandines etc. in flower.
Our next u3a Strollers walk is on Thursday April 10th. This is a walk suggested by David A. who hopefully will be sharing some local history facts with us during the walk.
We’re meeting up at the Coronation Avenue bus stop at 1.15pm. From Dawlish catch the 1.05pm Newton Abbot bus or from Teignmouth catch the 12.49pm Exeter bus.
The walk is mostly level or downhill, comprising Teignmouth Old Road; the footpath behind Oaklands Woods/John Nash Drive; down Aller Hill; under Luscombe Bridge Arch; along the footpath by the Old Vicarage; through St Gregory’s churchyard; then we’ll follow the Brook to the viaduct – with a refreshment stop of course on the way.
New u3a members / walkers are welcome to join us on our monthly walks.
