Monthly Zoom Meetings

Can you remember the last time we met face to face for a monthly meeting and the subject? Well it was February with the theme being the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. Unfortunately since then we have not been able to see each other as often as we would like, apart from those members who are in small groups or on zoom. I think the meetings on the Lawn have been a good way of socialising but we have had the last one for this year.

At our Committee meeting last Monday it was decided to have a three month trial period of having a monthly meeting on Zoom. I trust that you might be able to join in and Patricia will readily give advice to those who have as yet not used Zoom. (Patricia can be contacted via enquiries@u3a.dawlish.info.)

The dates of the meetings will be:

Monday 16th November at 2pm – Hugh Scudder speaking about the Christmas Shoe Box Appeal for Moldova

Monday 14th December at 2pm – Toby Sherwin talking about ‘Life between the tides at Dawlish’

Monday 18th January at 2pm – Councillor Alison Foden talking about her role as Mayor of Dawlish

I hope you will try and join in this new initiative and Patricia will inform you of the log-in details in due course.
