Members wanted for U3A Committee

Have you ever thought about joining us on the Dawlish and District U3A Commmittee?  No particular credentials are necessary, just one free morning every month; an interest in our local U3A; a willingness to roll up the sleeves when necessary; and of course, a sense of humour.  Meetings rarely last much more than an hour, and are usually punctuated by lots of laughter and good humour.

We are a very friendly lot on the Committee and most of us would be pleased to continue to serve for the rest of this year and into 2021.  We are only elected to serve for one year and can be re-elected three times before having to hand over to someone else if we haven’t before then.

Sadly, we have some members of the Committee leaving Dawlish to move to greener pastures elsewhere and so have a couple of posts to fill – Membership Secretary and Treasurer.  Neither job is onerous, and we are all very good at helping and supporting each other.

Even if you don’t fancy doing a bit of membership secretarying or treasuring, you would be very welcome onto our Committee to help your wonderful Dawlish and District U3A go from strength to strength.
