Gardens and Gateaux – Burrows Farm gardens
A group of nearly twenty of us from the Gardens and Gateaux group visited Burrows Farm gardens near Axminster on Saturday 13th June.
We had a short introductory talk where we learned that the owners had bought the property as a dairy farm in the 1950’s and that it had gradually been transformed into some 13 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and wild flower meadows. We spent about three hours combining wandering in the sunshine, and drinking coffee, leaving at lunchtime and being back in Dawlish to enjoy the afternoon.
Thanks to Barry for organising the trip.
