Date for your diary: Our tenth anniversary party
Party Time!
You may not realise it but Dawlish & District u3a is approaching a landmark in its history: we were founded ten years ago in 2014. We don’t have a precise date, and some of the details of who were the movers and shakers in bringing about this seismic event in the history of Dawlish remain obscure. Nonetheless, I think this event deserves to be marked and enjoyed by our members. So, please put in your diary that our birthday party will take place on the Lawns on the afternoon of Monday 15th July. The sun will shine, cakes are already ordered but other than that, I have no detail as yet. Nearer the time, the organisers will let us know what they have in store.
