Boules – April 2024

Now that spring is well on its way – the rain stopped for a few days anyway – the Boules group programme for the better weather is well underway.  We started the month, very sensibly continuing to play indoors, some of our members actually enjoying this somewhat foolish activity. Our first outdoors session on the Lawn was marred both by ankle high grass and a seagull that swooped down and flew off with Pat Smith’s jack. Seeing us eyeing it up from a distance, it swallowed it. I fear the outcome must have been uncomfortable at the very least. Seven of us travelled across to Exminster for the final session in April, including two new members. Time will tell if they come back for more.

Everyone is welcome, no equipment or experience is necessary and the only charge is a small one for playing indoors.
