About David Force

David Force was born and brought up in Exeter, but has lived and worked in Dawlish since 1982. He has now retired from a career in estate agency, but is still an auctioneer of antiques and collectibles.

David has long been interested in the history of Dawlish, and has written a couple of well-received books about the town. He enjoys giving talks to local groups about different aspects of Dawlish history, as well as talks and quizzes on antiques.

He is married to Amanda and has two children and a grandson.
