Badminton

There is a core of about eight to ten regular players, but we continue to welcome new or returning players. Our players have a range of skills. Some are new to the sport, whilst others are more experienced and these are willing to provide friendly advice to the new players.

As with all the U3A groups the main focus is enjoying oneself, and we do that at badminton. The bonus is that it keeps us active.

We play at the Dawlish Leisure Centre, Sandy Lane, on a Tuesday afternoon, for an hour from 4.30pm. The cost has recently been reduced to £3 a session.
