Discussion Group – May/June 2026
Four of us met on May 13th to ask ourselves if there is life after death. The topic incited a lot of interesting contributions, after acknowledging that the subject of death is taboo until it becomes personal and normalises in older age. We described our own experiences with death and suggested that the main way one continues to live after death is in other people’s memory.
We wondered about the nature of life and about the possibility of a pluri-dimensional reality, also mentioning the possibility of multiverses; we alluded to quantum physics, and ended up discussing values and religions and the co-existence of different beliefs and faiths, including opinions on re-incarnation.
I think that we all benefited from such a wide-ranging exchange and so decided to talk about an equally challenging topic next time: War. That will be on 17th June.
