Natural History – October 2021

The group met at 6, Town Mills, Church Street, Dawlish., EX7 9QP on 28th September, for an exploration of migration worldwide. We began and ended with insects, and included birds and whales. The members contributed much to the discussion, which left us with lots of sobering reflections not only for the natural world, but even for humanity itself as a consequence of climate change.

We welcome the interest in joining the group by 8 new u3a members and 2 potential new members, as a result of the Open Day.

On Friday, 8th October a small group will be visiting the RSPB reserve at Topsham; and our monthly meeting on Tuesday, 26th October, will be led by Dave Hutton, Devon Wildlife volunteer and member of Action Climate Teignbridge.
