Literature

The Group started with a small number of enthusiastic readers soon after Dawlish & District u3a began. There is always a lively welcoming atmosphere as we disuss our book of the month and issues that arise from our reading. Individuals can contribute as much or as little as they wish but all generally enjoy the opportunity of being introduced to new authors, subjects and styles.

The books are provided by Devon Libraries Book Group Service and all members are involved in the choice of books for the following year from a very extensive Choices List provided by the Service.

Group meetings are usually held monthly on the 3rd Friday

Cost: There is an annual fee of £7.50 which covers the cost of the provision of books from Devon Libraries Services, so you don’t have to buy your own.
