Annual General Meeting

Dawlish and District U3A members will have recieved the following message from our Secretary:
Dear Member
Your Committee gave notice last month of our AGM for this year. Unlike last year, we will be able to meet together for the AGM.
The Agenda and other papers for the AGM are available here. They are:
- AGM Agenda 2021;
- AGM Nominations received;
- u3a AGM Minutes 2020;
- Dawlish & District Balance Sheet 2020/21.
Nomination forms for the Committee have been sent via our newsletter and are also available here. The list of nominations received by the closing date is included. Four Officer posts and eight other Members of the Committee are to be appointed. Where there are still vacancies these are shown and if you feel you would like to stand for one of these you can still do so at the AGM. You will need to confirm to the meeting your willingness to stand and ensure that you have a paid up member to propose your nomination and a member to second you. The meeting will then vote on your request.
At the AGM members will vote on the appointments to the Committee, the reports, and the motion submitted.

This year we are fortunate to be able to have our South West u3a Trustee, Susan Parker, as our Guest Speaker. It will be an excellent opportunity to hear how the u3a has emerged from and developed since the Covid emergency.
